Red Lion RL-50SC 1/2 HP Cast Iron Sump/Effluent Pump
The Red Lion RL-50SC 1/2 HP, 115-Volt, 4000 GPH sump/light effluent pump is ideal for high volume water and effluent removal in residential sump systems. This pump is equipped with a 1-1/2-inch FNPT discharge and a 10-ft. cord, and comes with a snap-action float switch for reliable automatic operation.
The pump is designed for basement sump systems and light effluent applications, and is built to last with its heavy-duty cast iron construction for rapid heat dissipation and extended life. It features a clog-resistant design capable of passing 1/2-inch semi-solids, and is CSA listed in the USA and Canada.
The snap action switch comes on when the water reaches 8 to 11 inches and shuts off when the water falls between 2 and 5 inches, with a steel rod protecting the switch from hitting the side of the basin. The small footprint of the pump allows it to fit basins 11-inches in diameter or greater.
