The Little Giant BSP33V 1/3 HP, 2880 GPH, 115-volt sump pump is an ideal choice for use as a sump pump, a backup pump, or for emergency water removal. Weighing only 8.6 pounds, this pump allows for easy installation, and it can be mounted above an existing pump as added protection against flooding in flood-prone areas.

This pump is equipped with a 1.5-inch FNPT discharge and an 8-ft. power cord, and it has a small footprint, fitting in basins 14 inches or larger. It comes with a piggy-back vertical switch that activates when the water reaches 7.25 inches and shuts off when the water falls to 2.75 inches. The pump can be easily converted to a manual pump by unplugging it from the switch and plugging it directly into a wall outlet, making it perfect for emergency water removal or for servicing or testing the pump.

The pump's LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN features an epoxy-coated cast aluminum housing, a thermoplastic vortex impeller, cover, and volute, and a carbon/ceramic nitrile shaft seal, all of which contribute to easier installation or the ability to mount it as a backup pump.
